    Robert S. Campbell

    Mr. Campbell has an active litigation practice primarily in complex commercial and general litigation matters in Maryland state and federal courts as well as other jurisdictions in which he is admitted pro hac vice. He has extensive appellate, arbitration and trial experience and notably has a long and successful motions track record including successful motions for summary judgment and dismissal for his clients.

    Mr. Campbell represents individuals, business entities and local governments in the areas of commercial litigation, business disputes, product liability, business disputes, transportation/trucking, engineering, premises liability, healthcare litigation and construction.

    Mr. Campbell represents national and regional transportation companies, including the defense of trucking/transportation claims and related insurance issues.  In the defense of trucking matters, Mr. Campbell participates in a twenty-four hour response group to provide immediate investigation, risk assessment and evidence capture.

    Mr. Campbell participates in the investigation and defense of national and regional companies that rent, design, manufacture, market, distribute and sell consumer products and materials.  As part of that representation, Mr. Campbell conducts early investigation of products liability claims to secure evanescent evidence and to involve possible expert witnesses.

    Mr. Campbell has significant experience handling construction litigation and transactional matters including warranty claims, mechanic’s liens, and statutory claims on behalf of contractors and subcontractors.

    Mr. Campbell is assigned to represent insureds by national insurance carriers in premises liability, tort defense, automobile and trucking cases, and government liability matters. He has participated in coverage analysis and policy determinations, and has prosecuted and defended claims against Maryland insurance producers.

    Mr. Campbell also represents nursing and other healthcare industry facilities with billing disputes, guardianships, defense of administrator actions, involuntary discharges, and estate litigation.
