Kimberly Longford is a Member with PK Law and part of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Defense Group. She represents physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers throughout the State of Maryland in the defense of medical negligence and other healthcare related matters, including licensing matters. In addition, she has represented landlords in the defense of personal injury claims relating to alleged lead paint poisoning. She earned her B.A. in Government & Politics and her B.S. in General Business from the University of Maryland College Park in 2001. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Miami School of Law where she was Editor-in-Chief of the International & Comparative Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. Ms. Longford was also nominated and admitted to the National Order of Barristers while in law school. She has been a member of the Maryland State Bar since 2006 and was recognized by her peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2011-2016, a Benchmark 40 and Under Hotlist in 2018, a Best Lawyers in America Local Litigation Star in 2019 and recognized by Best Lawyers for Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants in 2022. Ms. Longford also proudly served on the Board of Directors for The Arc Baltimore.
