Hodes, Pessin & Katz, P.A. (HPK) is proud to announce that attorney, Tiffany S. Franc has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s bankruptcy group.
Ms. Franc received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Frostburg State University in 2005 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in December of 2009. While attending law school, she was a bankruptcy paralegal and, prior to joining HPK as an attorney, she clerked for the Honorable Nancy V. Alquist of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Throughout her academic career, Ms. Franc has taken a special interest in community outreach, and plans to continue to pursue this interest as an attorney. She is an active member of the Charm City Alumni Group of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association. In the past Ms. Franc has been a member of the planning committee for Baltimore County National Adoption Day. National Adoption Day is a day when courts and communities across the country come together to finalize thousands of adoptions of foster children, honor the families who adopt, and celebrate the successes of these adopted children. Ms. Franc, who is herself a foster-care adoption success story, will be the keynote speaker for this year’s Baltimore County National Adoption Day. Ms. Franc is also qualified and plans to mediate cases in the Circuit Courts of Maryland and for child access matters.
