Hodes, Pessin & Katz, P.A. (HPK) Member Mark F. Scurti is the 2010 recipient of the prestigious Belsky Award given by the Maryland State Bar Association Consumer Bankruptcy Section. This award recognizes extraordinary support of the Consumer Bankruptcy Section and its many important activities, services, education, and professional leadership.
Mr. Scurti received his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and holds a B.A. in Marketing/Business and an M.B.A. from Loyola College in Maryland. He is admitted to the Maryland Bar, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the District of Columbia and U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Tax Court.
Mr. Scurti has been an active member of many professional organizations, including the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, of which he was President, the Maryland Lesbian & Gay Association, and the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland.
