On May 1st each year, the Nation pauses to reflect upon the rule of law and its impact on our lives as American citizens. This special day is called Law Day. Around the country, members of the judiciary, legal profession and others join in celebrating this special day. In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision Miranda v. Arizona, the American Bar Association selected “Miranda: More than Words” as theme for this year’s Law Day.
Locally one of PK Law’s finest, Education and Labor Attorney Adam E. Konstas, Esquire, put in a significant efforts to plan and execute Law Day 2016 on behalf of the Baltimore County Bar Association (BCBA).
As Vice Chair of BCBA’s Law Day Committee, Adam worked tirelessly and enthusiastically for the benefit of all who attended this year’s program. From BCBA’s Annual Law Day Breakfast program featuring former Chief of the Court of Appeals The Honorable Robert Bell to this afternoon’s Noon Ceremony featuring Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Andre Davis, the success of Law Day 2016 was due, in large measure, to Adam’s efforts.
