Margaret (Meg) M. McKee, a professional with over 30 years of diversified legal experience, has joined Pessin Katz Law, P.A. (PK Law) as Of Counsel. Formerly a Principal with Proctor & McKee, P.A., a boutique law firm where she practiced for over 20 years, Ms. McKee will concentrate in the areas of commercial litigation, business dispute resolution, appeals and general litigation matters.
Ms. McKee’s recent move comes as Proctor & McKee starts to unwind following her former partner, Donald Proctor’s, announcement of his intention to retire. About her recent association with PK Law, Ms. McKee said, “This next career chapter with PK Law gives me the opportunity to leverage the experience of professionals working in many different practice areas to benefit my clients, who often need more than litigation counsel, and who previously would have been outsourced to other practitioners. Ms. McKee graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her law degree from the University of Baltimore. She currently serves on the Maryland State Bar Association Board of Governors and Executive Committee and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, the Maryland Bar Foundation and the Litigation Counsel of America. She has an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers since 2016. Ms. McKee is the Vice President of the Baltimore Carroll Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association and has served on its Board since 2013. She also co-chairs the Laws Committee of the MSBA.

Hopkins formed the intellectual property boutique law firm last year and she brings more than 15 years of direct experience handling trademark, copyright, trade secret and unfair competition matters.
