Ms. Smith is part of the firm’s well established and distinguished Estate Planning Practice. She began her career at Pessin Katz Law as a wealth preservation paralegal, and
attended the University of Baltimore School of Law in the evenings, obtaining her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, in 2004.  In 2006 she obtained her Masters in Taxation from the University of Baltimore.

Ms. Smith focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration.  Ms. Smith assists individuals and families in setting up their estate plan through prenuptial agreements, wills, trusts, naming guardians for minor children, powers of attorney and healthcare directives.  Her extensive experience in the estate planning field along with her tax knowledge, allows her to develop individual wealth preservation plans to meet the unique goals of each of her clients.  Her work in probate and trust administration allows her to help the families implement the wishes of their loved ones.
