Since becoming an attorney at PK Law in 2013, Kayleigh has not only focused her time on progressing her litigation practice, most notably being recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2017, but has also continued her life-long commitment to giving back to the community. She is a continuing volunteer for Dogs XL Rescue as well as a member of Emerging Leaders United with the United Way of Central Maryland.

Prior to joining the Board of Directors, Kayleigh organized annual fundraising and awareness events throughout the community to support AFSP’s Baltimore Out of the Darkness walk. Kayleigh joined the Board of Directors in hopes of gaining a greater role in facilitating the AFSP’s initiatives toward eliminating the loss of life from suicide through the delivering of innovative prevention programs, educating the public about risk factors and warning signs, raising funds for suicide research and programs, and reaching out to those individuals who have lost someone to suicide. As a board member to AFSP, Kayleigh strives to continue her work for this notable cause with her determination to change the perception of suicide through education and prevention initiatives.

As a rising associate at PK Law, Kayleigh focuses her litigation practice primarily in areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, and commercial business disputes. She has significant experience in alternative dispute resolutions, participating in over 200 cases as an attorney advocate.

Kayleigh has handled case work spanning state and federal courts in Maryland, in addition to over 180 federal first-party property damage claims involving complex insurance coverage issues in various jurisdictions on the East Coast. As part of the assigned national counsel team in mass flood actions, she assisted in designing a case management plan and strategy to produce quality work product for hundreds of cases simultaneously and efficiently. She has adapted these skills for defending a variety of national insurers in premise liability, tort defense, catastrophic and automobile cases. Kayleigh has significant trial experience representing clients in a range of matters from multi-million dollar commercial business disputes to district court breach of contract/tort cases.

Kayleigh is an essential part of the PK Law team, both in and out of the office. We are proud of her commitment to giving back to the community, and her appointment to the Board of Directors for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
