Joan authored an e-book entitled “Best Practices for Defending Long-Term Care Liability Claims” in 2012 and recently authored several articles including “LEARNING FROM MISTAKES AND NEAR MISTAKES:UTILIZING ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS AS A RISK MANAGEMENT TOOL” (http://authors.elsevier.com/a/1QYs65VYVEL36w) which appeared in the February issue of the Journal of Radiology Nursing and “SO YOU’RE STARTING A PRACTICE” which appeared in the Winter 2015 issue of In Session with Allied World (a newsletter designed to address legal risk related issues that psychiatrists encounter).
