PK Law is pleased to announce that Associate Zachary Miller has accepted a position as a board member at the Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library.

Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library (“The Foundation”) was founded in 1998 to support Baltimore County’s commitment to a superior public library system. The Foundation  views reading as a critical and fundamental tool for overall connection to the community, development of curiosity and exploration of the world and motivates all customers of the library, regardless of age or economic circumstance, to embrace reading. The Foundation’s support of the library is made possible by contributions by individuals, businesses and other foundations. Donations provide funding for a range of activities to promote a love of learning, the development of early childhood literacy and to continue lifelong learning for children and adults.

When asked why he chose this particular board, Mr. Miller commented, “I joined The Foundation because I believe that a community’s public library is the central cornerstone of a strong and vibrant community.  I see a library as the main hub for members of the community to come together and exchange ideas as well as learn about different areas.  By serving as a board member for The Foundation I have the opportunity to help promote the valuable and important resources that the library provides the local community, including internet access, meeting rooms, and of course books, as well as The Foundation’s core mission, which is to get the residents of Baltimore County to explore, learn, create and connect.”
