A group of PK Law Attorneys participated in the Baltimore County Bar Association Law Day Breakfast and Noon Day Ceremonies. The breakfast, held at Martin Valley’s Mansion, featured Maryland Insurance Commissioner, Alfred W. Redmer, Jr.
The noon ceremonies, held in the Baltimore County Circuit Court’s Ceremonial Courtroom, featured Governor Larry Hogan. Among the awards given out at the ceremony was the Law Day Award given to PK Law’s Managing Director, Drake Zaharris.
Law Day has been celebrated in the United States since 1958. It is day set aside annually on May 1st to reflect upon the role of law in the founding of the country and recognize its importance in society. This year’s theme for Law Day was Separation of Powers: Framework for Freedom. PK Law has a significant history of involvement in BCBA’s Law Day celebration with two attorneys who have served as Law Day Committee Chairs, Lisa Settles and Adam Konstas.
