PK Law Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney, Kevin Bress, appeared on WBAL TV’s Medical Minute last week to discuss the importance of executing a medical directive to ensure loved ones are aware of your desired life sustaining procedures and who you would like to make decisions for you in the event you are incapacitated. He also discussed a new development in Maryland related to medical directives. Maryland has contracted with MyDirectives.com to allow Maryland residents to upload and make their directives available to Maryland hospitals and doctors. Maryland is one of the first states in the country to have made this option available.
