The Forget Me Not Gala hosted by PK Law Member Edmund O’Meally and his wife Dawn O’Meally was a huge success this past weekend. The Gala, which was held to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Maryland chapter, raised more than twice the set fundraising goal. The keynote speakers were Dr. Cynthia Fields, a neuropsychiatrist, and Dr. Steven Lockard, the superintendent of Carroll County schools. WMAR-2 News Jamie Costello emceed the event. Mr. O’Meally’s mother, Barbara was diagnosed with the disease approximately ten years ago. More than 110,000 people have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in the Maryland area.
