Management Staff:

The management staff at Pessin Katz Law, P.A., includes leadership positions in finance, human resources, information technology and marketing.  The Chief Financial Officer, Chief Business Development Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer work together in overseeing various projects/initiatives for the firm as well as directing their respective department’s activities.   The management staff is committed to supporting our attorneys to ensure the firm is able to provide the highest level of service to our clients.

Support Staff:

Our staff is dedicated to providing excellent client service.  Support staff positions at Pessin Katz Law, P.A., include paralegals, legal administrative assistants, IT support, administrative/records clerks and other similar  administrative support positions.   A team approach is used throughout all of our departments providing a work environment that is collegial, supportive and flexible.

Paralegal: The  Wealth Preservation Group  is seeking a Paralegal to work in the following areas:  Guardianships, Probate, and Elder Law. Duties include preparing and submitting legal documents related to guardianship matters and medical assistance applications throughout the state of Maryland; communicating with clients and third parties, by telephone and in writing, regarding their cases and obtaining necessary information; tracking and monitoring all filing deadlines and maintaining client matter spreadsheet; and drafting advanced health care directives, powers of attorney, Wills, and other similar documents.   Will also be responsible for preparing documentation related to estate administration, probate, and trust administration matters.   Qualified candidates will possess Paralegal degree or experience equivalent.  Additional qualifications include excellent analytical and organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn.  Strong communication (written and verbal) and project management skills essential.  Previous paralegal experience in at least one of the following areas helpful, but not required:  medical assistance planning, estate planning, and/or probate.
