Our staff is dedicated to providing excellent client service. Support staff positions at Pessin Katz Law, P.A., include paralegals, legal administrative assistants, IT support, administrative/records clerks and other similar administrative support positions. A team approach is used throughout all of our departments providing a work environment that is collegial, supportive and flexible.
Practice Assistant (part-time position): Part-time position available working with Corporate and Real Estate attorney focusing on client billing and A/R. Responsibilities include coordinating client billing/payments and tracking/following up on related A/R matters. Duties include, but not limited to:
- Monitoring, coordinating and facilitating the processing of client bills
- Maintaining payment spreadsheet; coordinating payments with clients
- Preparing correspondence and documents related to client billing
- Providing back-up legal administrative assistant support
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years’ administrative/accounting/financial record keeping experience. Additional qualifications include excellent written and oral communication skills, proactive work ethic, attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks/deadlines. Strong day-to-day organizational skills, a client service focus and ability to work as part of a team are essential. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Hours: 21 hours per week; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. three days a week (Monday through Friday); some flexibility on days and hours.
