Pessin Katz Law is proud to host Urban Alliance on Friday, June 7, 2013 for a “Day of Learning”.  PK Law volunteers include secretaries, law clerks, paralegals, attorneys and administrative staff in giving a well-rounded view of our firm’s day-to-day practice.

Students will be put into four groups and rotate through the different departments at PK Law in an effort to have them experience “corporate life”.  The students will be “schooled” on marketing and business development, human resources, information technology and also given a tour by our facilities department.

Urban Alliance is a youth development organization that empowers under-resourced youth to aspire, work, and succeed through paid internships, formal training, and mentoring. The Urban Alliance High School Internship Program has served over 1,000 under-resourced youth in DC since 1996. In 2008, Dr. Alonso, CEO of Baltimore City Public Schools, requested that Urban Alliance duplicate the internship program in Baltimore. Since 2008, we have served over 120 Baltimore City youth from 9 high schools. Click here for more information on Baltimore programs.
